Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post about finding Devon Rex cats, written in a casual, personal style, and following all your instructions:
So, I totally fell in love with Devon Rex cats. Those big ears, the wavy fur, the whole elf-like thing they’ve got going on… I just had to find one. Or, y’know, at least see if I could find one near me.

I started, like everyone does, by googling “devon rex cats near me”. Simple enough, right?
The First thing I did was open up my browser.
My Searching Process
- Opened the search page
- Input the text”devon rex cats near me”
- Clicked the button of search
I clicked on a few of the top * pulled up a bunch of stuff. Mostly breeder websites, which, okay, expected.
I started digging through breeder websites. Some were slick and professional, others looked like they were built in the early 2000s. It was a mixed bag, for sure. I was mainly looking for breeders who seemed to really care about their cats, not just churning them out, you know?
I made a list of breeders that were within, like, a reasonable driving distance. I figured a few hours in the car would be worth it for the perfect kitten.
I fired off some emails. Pretty standard stuff: “Hi, I’m interested in Devon Rex kittens, do you have any available, what are your prices, blah blah blah.” The waiting game began.
Then I went to wait the response.

A couple of breeders got back to me pretty quickly. One had a waiting list a mile long (seriously!), another had some kittens available, but they were a bit farther away than I’d hoped. Still, progress!
I keep searching and * Send e-mails and got some calls.
Finally,Got a perfect cat!
It is a long joury, but find a cat is happy!
