Started my search
First thing I did was hit up the internet. I checked out a bunch of different websites. One place, called “Sheracoons Maine Coons of Maryland,” caught my eye. They’re located in Frederick and Hagerstown. The website said they handle the kittens from birth and make sure they get along with other cats. Sounds pretty good, right?
Digging Deeper
Then I figured, I can’t just go with the first place I find. Gotta do some more digging. I found a few lists of breeders in Maryland. It’s super important to find a good breeder when you’re getting a purebred cat like a Maine Coon. You want to make sure they’re healthy and well taken care of.
Checking Out Options
I also saw this place called “MasterCoons Cattery” that has Maine Coon kittens for sale in Baltimore. Their website looked legit, and they had some cute pictures of the kittens. It’s always tempting to just go for the cutest one, but I know I need to be smart about this.
Narrowing it Down

Making Contact

Bringing my cat home
