So, I’ve got this cat, right? She’s a sweetheart, but she’s got this annoying habit of waking me up at like 3 AM, meowing her little head off. It’s cute, but also, I need my sleep, you know?
I tried everything. New toys, playing with her before bed, even those calming sprays. Nothing worked. Then, a friend of mine suggested trying CBD for cats. I was skeptical, I mean, CBD? For a cat? But I was desperate.

Finding the Right Product
I started doing some research. I found out that there are all sorts of CBD products for pets. Oils, treats, even capsules. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest. I read a bunch of reviews and finally settled on a CBD oil specifically made for cats. Made sure it was from a reputable company and all that jazz.
The Experiment Begins
The first night, I gave her a tiny little drop, as the instructions said, mixed it with her food. She gobbled it up, no problem. I was nervous, not gonna lie. But I went to bed, hoping for the best.
- Night 1: She woke me up at 5 AM instead of 3 AM. Progress, I guess?
- Night 2: Same thing, 5 AM wake-up call. Hmm.
- Night 3: I bumped up the dose a tiny bit, as suggested on the bottle. And guess what? She slept through the whole night! I couldn’t believe it.
- Night 4 Onward: It’s been about two weeks now, and she’s been sleeping like a baby, and so have I!
The Results
Honestly, I’m shocked. This CBD stuff actually worked. She’s calmer, more relaxed, and we’re both getting a full night’s sleep. It’s been a game-changer. I was super doubtful at first but now I’m thinking CBD is pretty neat.
Of course, every cat is different, and what worked for my little furball might not work for yours. But if you’re struggling with a cat that won’t sleep, it might be worth a shot. Just make sure to do your research, talk to your vet, and start with a low dose. You never know, it might just be the answer you’ve been looking for! It was sure worth trying in my opinion.
Anyway, that’s my story. Hope it helps some of you out there. Sweet dreams to you and your kitties!
