Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about the best shampoo for them English Bulldogs, you know, the wrinkly fellas. Them dogs got skin like a Shar-Pei, all folded up and whatnot, so you can’t just use any ol’ soap on ’em. Gotta be somethin’ special.

First off, you gotta understand them bulldogs got sensitive skin. Real sensitive. Like a baby’s butt, but with more wrinkles. So, you gotta be careful. Don’t go grabbin’ that dish soap, ya hear? You’ll make ’em itchier than a hound dog with fleas.
Now, I heard tell of some fancy shampoo, somethin’ called “earthbath Oatmeal & Aloe Dog Shampoo and Conditioner.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d eat for breakfast, but folks say it’s good for them itchy, dry skin bulldogs get. It’s supposed to make their fur soft and stop all that scratchin’. They say it’s got oatmeal and aloe in it, which I guess is supposed to be soothin’. Sounds like somethin’ my grandma used to put on sunburns, but hey, if it works, it works.
Another thing folks are talkin’ about are these “Duoxo wipes.” Now, I ain’t never seen one of these wipes myself, but they say you can get ‘em at Chewy, wherever that is. You just wipe down them wrinkly bits once or twice a day, and it helps keep things clean. They also got a shampoo and some kinda mousse, which sounds like somethin’ you put in your hair, but I guess it works for dogs too. It’s got some long word in it, “chlorhexidine,” sounds like somethin’ you’d use to clean a toilet, but they say it helps with the itchin’. Key thing is keepin’ them clean and feedin’ ‘em good food, stuff that don’t make ‘em all allergic.
- Keep ’em clean
- Feed ’em good
- Use the right shampoo
Now, some folks say you can use baby shampoo, like that Johnson & Johnson stuff. I used that on my babies, but I don’t know about usin’ it on a dog. They say it’s gentle and won’t hurt their eyes, but I’m still a bit skeptical. Seems like you’d want somethin’ made special for dogs, you know? But if you’re in a pinch, I guess it’s better than nothin’. Just make sure you rinse it all out good, don’t want no soap left in them wrinkles.
And another thing, don’t be washin’ them bulldogs too often. You wash ’em too much, you’ll dry out their skin even more. Once a week, maybe twice if they get real muddy, that’s about enough. And when you do wash ’em, make sure you rinse ’em real good. You don’t want no shampoo left behind, that’ll make ‘em itch for sure.
So, to sum it all up, you gotta find a shampoo that’s gentle, somethin’ for sensitive skin. That oatmeal and aloe stuff sounds good, or maybe them Duoxo wipes if the itchin’ is real bad. And don’t go washin’ ’em too much, and always rinse ’em good. That’s the key to keepin’ them English Bulldogs clean and happy.

And remember, if your dog is still itchin’ and scratchin’ after you tried all this stuff, you might need to take ‘em to the vet. Could be somethin’ more serious goin’ on. Don’t just ignore it, them dogs depend on us to take care of ‘em.
One last thing, I saw somethin’ about “Melhores Produtos de Higiene Para Seu Pet” at somethin’ called Petlove. Don’t know what that is, sounds foreign, but maybe they got good stuff there too. Just be careful, not everythin’ you see on the internet is true, ya know? Stick with what works, and if you ain’t sure, ask somebody who knows.
