The only difference is the colors. Siameses are usually seal point, chocolate point, blue point, or lilac point. Colorpoints can be red point, cream point, lynx point, or tortie point. Lots of choices, I tell ya.
Some folks say the Tonkinese looks like a Siamese too. They’re a mix between a Siamese and a Burmese, so they got a bit of both in ’em. They’re not as skinny as a Siamese, and their eyes ain’t always blue. Sometimes they’re green, sometimes they’re aqua. But they’re still pretty cats, and they’re real friendly. They love to play and cuddle, and they’re good with kids. A good family cat, that Tonkinese.
Then you got the Snowshoe cat. Now, them fellers are a mix between a Siamese and an American Shorthair. They got the blue eyes and the pointy face of a Siamese, but they got white paws, like they walked through a puddle of paint. They’re not as talkative as a Siamese, but they’re still pretty affectionate. They like to be around people, and they’re always up for a good cuddle.
