Well, today I’m gonna talk about my little adventure trying to find French Bulldog puppies in North Carolina. It was quite a journey, let me tell you.
So, I started like anyone would, I guess, by hitting up the internet. I typed in “French Bulldog puppies NC” and, boy, did I get a ton of results. I mean, there’s , which seemed like a pretty big deal, listing all sorts of puppies. Then there were a bunch of local breeders, too, like those folks in Goldsboro and Asheville, Blue Diamond Family Pups, they call themselves. They all claimed to have the best Frenchies in town.

- I started with searching online for breeders.
- I found many websites and local breeders in different cities of North Carolina.
After I got a list of potential breeders, I started digging a bit deeper. I mean, you can’t just pick a puppy from the first place you find, right? I made some calls, sent some emails, you know, the usual. I was trying to figure out who really knew their stuff and who was just, well, in it for the quick buck. I asked about the health of the parent dogs, what their living conditions were like, how they were taken care of, all that jazz. Some of these breeders were super helpful, answering all my questions, even the silly ones. Others, not so much.
- Then, I contacted these breeders to ask about their puppies.
- I asked about health, living conditions, and the breeders’ experience.
Now, I knew a bit about Frenchies before I started this whole thing. Like, they can come in some pretty wild colors, and some are rarer than others. I heard that blue, lilac, and those tan ones are super rare. And the merle ones? Forget about it, they’re like finding a needle in a haystack. I wasn’t necessarily looking for the rarest of the rare, but it was cool to learn about.
I also found out some stuff about their personalities. Apparently, the boy Frenchies are more playful and energetic, while the girls are more chill but can be a bit stubborn. I guess that’s just like people, huh?
Anyways, after all that calling and researching, I finally narrowed it down to a couple of breeders that seemed legit. I went to visit them, met the puppies, saw the parents, and checked out the whole setup. I wanted to make sure these little guys were coming from a good place, you know? It’s not just about finding a cute puppy; it’s about making sure they’re healthy and happy, too.
- I learned about the rare colors and the personalities of male and female Frenchies.
- I visited a few breeders to see the puppies and their living conditions.
Finally Getting a Puppy
After a few weeks I finally chose a breeder and got my puppy. It was a bit of a wait, but totally worth it.
So, yeah, that’s my story about finding French Bulldog puppies in North Carolina. It was definitely an experience, but I’m glad I did it. Now I’ve got a new little buddy, and he’s already causing all sorts of trouble, but I wouldn’t trade him for the world.
- After weeks of searching, I finally picked a puppy.
- It was a long process, but I got a new furry friend in the end.
