Well, let me tell ya ’bout these Siamese cats, or whatever they call ’em. Never had one myself, mind you, but I’ve heard things and seen a few around.
Them cats, they come from some place called Siam, sounds fancy, huh? Probably far away, not like here, that’s for sure. Now, they say these cats are real playful and social. Means they like to mess around and be with folks, I guess. Kids and other critters too, they say.
- They got their own toys, like little babies, always playing.
- Even fetch! Can ya believe it? Like a dog, almost.
But, hold your horses, not everyone’s a fan. Some folks say they’re too loud, always meowin’ and carryin’ on. If you like things quiet, these ain’t the cats for ya. They want your attention all the time, like little cling-ons. Leave ’em alone too long, and they get all mopey and sad, like they lost their best friend or somethin’.
They’re always talkin’ to ya, meowin’ this and meowin’ that. I guess that’s their way of chattin’. They like bein’ around people, but they ain’t always wantin’ to be held or cuddled. They got their own minds, ya know? But they’re loyal, they say. Stick to ya like glue, once they take a likin’ to ya.
Now, about their fur… it ain’t much trouble, they say. But they like bein’ brushed. Makes ’em feel loved, I reckon. And they look real fancy, all sleek and slim, like they think they’re better than everyone else.
So, what’s it like livin’ with one of these Siamese cats? Well, they say it’s a happy thing, a good thing. But ya gotta be ready for it. They’re active, real busybodies, always up to somethin’. You gotta give ’em lots of attention, play with ’em, talk to ’em. If ya don’t, they’ll get all lonely and sad. And nobody wants a sad cat, do they?
They say these cats are real smart too. Always figurin’ things out, gettin’ into mischief. You gotta keep an eye on ’em, that’s for sure. But they’re fun, they say. Always keepin’ ya entertained. Like a little clown, always makin’ ya laugh.
If you’re thinkin’ ’bout gettin’ one of these Siamese cats, ya gotta do your homework. Make sure you’re ready for all that energy and all that meowin’. And make sure you got plenty of time to spend with ’em. ‘Cause they ain’t the kind of cats ya can just leave alone all day. They need ya, ya know? They need your love and your attention. And if ya give it to ’em, they’ll give it right back, double. That’s what they say, anyway.
I seen one down the road, belongs to Mrs. Higgins. That cat’s always followin’ her around, like her own little shadow. And it’s always meowin’, you can hear it a mile away! But Mrs. Higgins, she seems happy enough with it. Says it keeps her company, now that her husband’s gone. So I guess they ain’t all bad, these Siamese cats. Just gotta know what you’re gettin’ yourself into, that’s all.
So there ya have it, that’s all I know ’bout them fancy Siamese cats. Take it or leave it. Just remember, they ain’t for everyone. But if ya got the time and the energy, they might just be the perfect cat for ya. Or maybe not. Who am I to say? I just talk about what I hear, ya know?
