Alright, let’s talk about these dogs, the, uh, Siberian Husky and Yorkie mix, yeah, that’s it. Folks call ’em Yorksky, I think. Sounds fancy, but it’s just two dogs makin’ puppies, ain’t it?
Now, you’re probably scratchin’ your head, thinkin’ how a big ol’ Husky gets friendly with a tiny Yorkie. Well, that’s their business, not mine. But what I do know is, these mixed pups are somethin’ else.
First off, they’re playful little things, always runnin’ around, got energy like a squirrel on a sugar rush. You gotta keep ’em busy, or they’ll be chewin’ on your shoes, or worse, your furniture! Take ’em for walks, play fetch, whatever it takes to tire ’em out. Otherwise, you’ll be sorry!

These Yorksky dogs, they ain’t purebreds, you see. One parent’s a Siberian Husky, big, fluffy, comes from cold places, you know, like on TV. The other’s a Yorkshire Terrier, tiny little thing, ladies like to carry ’em in their purses.
Huskies, now, they’re friendly fellas, usually. Good with strangers, don’t bite unless you mess with ’em. But they’re smart and stubborn, gotta train ’em good or they’ll be runnin’ the show. And lord, do they shed! Hair everywhere, like a snowstorm in your house. Gotta brush ’em all the time, or you’ll be swimmin’ in fur.
Yorkies, on the other hand, they’re small, but they got big personalities. They think they’re tough, even though they’re tiny. They like to be the boss, too. And they need attention, always wantin’ to be petted and fussed over.
So, you mix these two together, and what do you get? Well, it’s a bit of a gamble, ain’t it? You never know which parent the puppies will take after more. Some might be bigger, some smaller. Some might be friendly like the Husky, some might be a little bossy like the Yorkie.
But one thing’s for sure, they’re gonna be energetic. Like I said, you gotta keep ’em busy. And they might be independent, too. Don’t always need you fussin’ over ’em. They’re happy to do their own thing, sniffin’ around, chasin’ squirrels.
Now, about trainin’ these pups… Well, it ain’t always easy. Huskies are smart, but they’re stubborn. Yorkies are smart, too, but they got their own ideas. So you gotta be patient, and you gotta be firm. Let ’em know who’s boss, but don’t be mean about it. Use treats, that always works.
And don’t forget about groomin’. Both Huskies and Yorkies need regular brushin’, so you can bet your bottom dollar these mixed pups will need it too. Get a good brush, and get used to usin’ it. Otherwise, your house will look like a fur factory.
Socialization is important too. Gotta get ’em used to other dogs, and other people. Take ’em to the park, let ’em meet other pups. That way, they won’t be scared or aggressive when they meet someone new.
Huskies, they say they calm down after a while, maybe a year or two. But till then, they’re like little tornados. And they like to run off, so keep an eye on ’em. Wouldn’t want them to get lost now would ya.
So, if you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ a Yorksky, you gotta be prepared. They’re not for everyone. They need a lot of exercise, they need training, and they need grooming. But if you’re up for the challenge, they can be great companions. Loyal, playful, and always keepin’ you on your toes.
Just remember, every dog is different, even if they’re the same mix. Some Yorkskys might be more like Huskies, some might be more like Yorkies. It’s a roll of the dice, but that’s part of the fun, ain’t it?
