Okay, so I needed to find some good quality, but not overly expensive, food for my picky husky, Max. I’d heard good things about Bark Avenue Pet Supply, specifically the one in Gilbert, so I figured I’d give it a shot.
My Trip to Bark Avenue
First, I hopped on my phone and did a quick search to make sure I had the right address and knew their hours. Didn’t want to drive all the way there just to find them closed!
Finding the Place:
- It was pretty easy to find, actually. Right off the main road, plenty of parking.
Inside the Store:
- When I walked in, I was immediately greeted. The place was clean, well-organized, and didn’t have that overwhelming “pet store smell,” you know?
- They had a HUGE selection of food. I mean, rows and rows. Dry food, wet food, raw food, even some fancy freeze-dried stuff. It was a little overwhelming at first, I will admit that.
Getting Some Help:
- I wandered around for a bit, pretending I knew what I was looking for, but eventually, I flagged down one of the employees. She was super helpful. I told her about Max’s picky eating habits and what I was generally looking for, and she pointed me towards a few different brands I could consider.
- She even gave me some samples to take home, which was awesome. Max is notorious for turning his nose up at new food, so the samples were a lifesaver.
The Checkout Experience:
- Checking out was a breeze. The cashier was friendly, and they even had a loyalty program, which I signed up for because who don’t love points.
The Verdict:
Max loved the food I finally picked. Overall, I was really impressed with Bark Avenue Pet Supply in Gilbert. Great selection, helpful staff, and a clean store. I’ll definitely be going back!
