You know, sometimes you just need pics of a corgi. Don’t even ask why, it was just one of those days, one of those… projects. My buddy recently got this corgi, a little rascal named Max. So, I thought, “Brilliant! I’ll just pop over and get some snaps of Max. How hard could it be?” Oh boy, was I wrong.

Turns out, Max operates in two distinct modes: either he’s a sleepy, fluffy potato, or he’s a full-blown, uncontrollable furry torpedo. Trying to get a decent, non-blurry picture of that dog? It was a proper mission. I swear, I must have taken about two hundred photos, and every single one was either a blur, a shot of his tail disappearing around a corner, or him looking completely uninterested. My phone’s gallery ended up looking like some modern art experiment titled ‘Essence of Brown and White Smudge’.

So, after a good hour of chasing this four-legged chaos agent around the living room, I pretty much threw in the towel on my budding career as a corgi photographer. It just wasn’t happening. I sat there, looking at my phone, and thought, “There has to be a better way to get some decent corgi pics.” And that’s when I decided to turn to the trusty old internet.

My Epic Quest for Corgi Pics Online

Alright, so first things first, I just typed ‘corgi’ into my usual search engine. And bam! Instantly, millions of them. Floof everywhere. But, you know, a lot of them were a bit… samey. Or they had those massive watermarks plastered all over them. I was after something with a bit more spark, something that really captured that quirky, goofy corgi spirit I’d seen in Max (when he wasn’t moving at the speed of light, that is).

So, I realized I needed to get a bit more specific with my searches. My first little trick was to start adding more descriptive words. I tried a bunch of different things, like:

  • ‘funny corgi pics’ – because they are often hilarious.
  • ‘corgi sploot pics’ – you know the pose, when they lie flat on their tummies with their little legs sticking out behind them? Classic.
  • ‘corgi puppy pics’ – I mean, who can resist a corgi puppy? Not me.
  • ‘corgi smiling pics’ – they really do look like they’re smiling sometimes!

That definitely helped filter out some of the noise. I started finding some really great shots. Some looked super professional, probably taken by proper pet photographers, and others were just everyday folks who got a lucky, awesome shot with their phone.

Then it hit me – image search tools! Most search engines have these advanced options, right? I started playing around with those. You can often filter by image size (to make sure it’s not tiny and pixelated), by color (though not super useful for corgis, mostly brown and white!), by type (like ‘photo’ or ‘drawing’), and sometimes even by usage rights. That last one is actually pretty important if you’re planning on using the picture for anything beyond just your own amusement. I wasn’t doing anything major, but it’s always good to be aware of that stuff.

I probably spent a solid hour or so just scrolling through pages and pages of corgis. I saved a fair few to a folder. Some were just laugh-out-loud funny, others were so incredibly cute they made my teeth hurt. I even stumbled upon a few that looked suspiciously like my buddy’s Max, if Max could ever manage to stay still for longer than half a second.

Here’s something I picked up: a lot of the really good, natural-looking, candid shots? You often find those on social media platforms. People absolutely love sharing pictures of their pets. So, I did a bit of digging around on places like Instagram and Pinterest, searching for hashtags like #corgi, #corgilife, #corgination, and all that jazz. You can unearth some real hidden gems that way. Again, just be careful about how you use them if they’re not your own.

In the end, I managed to put together a pretty decent collection of corgi pictures. Not of Max, mind you. He remained an uncooperative, blurry enigma. But I got a whole bunch of fantastic corgi pics that were perfect for what I needed them for… my little, top-secret project. It was definitely more of a journey than just a quick search, but honestly, it was way less frustrating than trying to photograph what felt like a furry, four-legged rocket. And way more rewarding, in a way.

So yeah, that was my little adventure into the world of finding ‘pics of a corgi’. A bit more involved than I initially thought it would be, but also pretty enjoyable, especially if you’re a fan of adorable, stumpy-legged dogs. And let’s be honest, who isn’t?
