Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this place, Salty’s Pet Supply. It’s this store, see? For all yer furry friends. Dogs, cats, you name it, they got stuff for ’em.
Now, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, but even I can see this place is somethin’ special. They got all sorts of things. Food, ya know, the stuff they eat. Big bags, little bags, all kinds of kibble and whatnot. And toys! Oh my, the toys they got. Squeaky things, chewy things, things that bounce and roll. My ol’ Bessie, she’d a loved this place, bless her heart.
They say it’s on some street called Mississippi Avenue. Sounds fancy, huh? Never been there myself, but folks tell me it’s in somethin’ called North Portland. Oregon, I think. Anyway, it’s a place where you can just walk on over from yer house, if ya live nearby, and get what ya need for yer critters.
This ain’t no big chain store, mind you. It’s a neighborly kinda place. The folks who run it, they seem nice enough. They’ll help ya find what yer lookin’ for, and they won’t try to sell ya somethin’ ya don’t need. That’s important, ya know? Some of them city stores, they just wanna take yer money.
They been around a while too, since 2005, they say. That’s a long time for anythin’ to last these days. Guess that means they’re doin’ somethin’ right. People like ’em, and their pets like ’em too, I reckon.
They got stuff for cats, too. Little furry things, always gettin’ into mischief. They need toys and scratchin’ posts and all that. And food, of course. Can’t forget the food. Salty’s got it all, they say.
- Food: Big bags, small bags, all kinds of brands.
- Toys: Squeaky toys, chew toys, balls, ropes, you name it.
- Accessories: Collars, leashes, beds, bowls, and all sorts of other stuff.
Now, I ain’t got no pets no more, not since Bessie went to the big farm in the sky. But if I did, I’d sure be goin’ to Salty’s. It just seems like a good, honest place. They care about the animals, and they care about the people who own ’em. And that’s somethin’ you don’t see every day, let me tell ya.
They’re open pretty much every day, too. From 10 in the mornin’ till 7 at night, they say. That’s good, ’cause sometimes ya need somethin’ late in the day, ya know? Like if yer dog runs out of food or somethin’. You can just hop on over to Salty’s and get what ya need.
They even got pictures, so folks can see what it looks like inside. I seen ’em online, though I ain’t too good with that computer stuff. But my grandbaby showed me. It looks like a real nice place, all clean and organized. Not like some of them dusty ol’ stores you see sometimes.
So, if you got a pet, and you live near this Mississippi Avenue place, go on down to Salty’s. They’ll take good care of ya. And yer pet will thank ya for it, I betcha. Good, honest folks sellin’ good, honest stuff for good, honest pets. That’s what the world needs more of, if ya ask me.
They got a real address and all, somethin’ like 4039 N Mississippi Ave, Ste 104, Portland, OR 97227. Sounds fancy, like I said. But don’t let that fool ya. It’s just a good ol’ pet store, plain and simple. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of, in my book.
Affordable, that’s another thing they say. Means it don’t cost an arm and a leg, I reckon. And top-quality, too. So yer gettin’ good stuff for yer money. Can’t beat that, now can ya?
And let me tell you, findin’ a place that treats you right and doesn’t try to cheat you, well, that’s like findin’ a hen’s tooth these days. So, if you got a furry friend, you go on down to Salty’s. You won’t be sorry.
