Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Premier Pet Supply place over in Novi. I ain’t never seen so much stuff for critters in one spot! It’s on Grand River Avenue, that big road, ya know? Can’t miss it, big ol’ store.
First off, the food. My goodness, they got everythin’ from them fancy bags of dog food with all the vitamins and whatnots to the plain ol’ stuff my Bessie used to eat. Cats, dogs, birds, little hamsters…they got food for ’em all. And treats! My grandbaby would go crazy in there, all the cookies and chews and such. Enough to make your teeth hurt just lookin’ at ’em!

- Birdseed, and them little millet sticks
- Hamster food, looks like rabbit pellets to me
- Treats galore! Too many to count!
Then there’s the toys. Lord have mercy, the toys! Squeaky things, fluffy things, ropes for tuggin’, balls for chasin’…you name it, they probably got it. My old dog, Buster, he’d a been in heaven. He loved them squeaky toys somethin’ fierce. Used to chew ’em up in a day, bless his heart.
They got stuff for keepin’ your critters healthy too. Shampoos, brushes, flea medicine…all that kinda stuff. And them crates, if you need one. Big ones, little ones, metal ones, plastic ones… My nephew got a new puppy and had to get one of them big wire crates. Looked like a jail cell to me, but the puppy seemed happy enough in it.
Now, I ain’t been to a lot of pet stores, but this one seems mighty fancy. The folks workin’ there are real nice, always smilin’ and askin’ if you need help. They seem to know their stuff too, which is more than I can say for some folks these days. They told my neighbor all about them different kinds of cat food, which one’s good for sensitive stomachs and such. She’s got a real picky cat, that one.
And the store itself is clean, real clean. Ain’t all cluttered and dusty like some places. Easy to find what you need, which is important when you’re old like me and your legs start achin’ after too much walkin’. They even got them little carts, so you don’t have to carry heavy bags around. That’s a blessing, let me tell ya.
I heard tell this Premier Pet Supply is a family-owned business, got a few stores around. That’s nice, you know? Supportin’ local folks instead of them big corporations. Seems like they care about their customers, and their critters too. You can tell just by the way they talk and treat you. Not like them places where you feel like they just want your money and nothin’ else.
They’re open pretty much all day, every day. From early in the mornin’ till late at night. That’s handy, especially if you run out of somethin’ and need to grab it quick. I know my neighbor had to do that once, run over there late for some special cat food her fancy cat needed. They were open, thank goodness.
And the place is easy to find, like I said. Right there on Grand River Avenue in Novi. Plenty of parkin’ too, which is a big deal for me. Nothin’ worse than havin’ to circle the block lookin’ for a spot when you got a bag of heavy dog food to carry.
So, if you got critters, I reckon you oughta check out this Premier Pet Supply. They got pretty much everythin’ you could ever need, and the folks are friendly and helpful. It’s a good place, a real good place. You won’t be disappointed, that’s for sure. My Bessie woulda loved it, rest her soul.
