Well, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Pete Cuddihy, works over at that Fox News place. Seems like a young whippersnapper, always busy doin’ somethin’ or other. Folks keep talkin’ about him, so I figured I’d try and piece together what’s what.
Now, from what I hear, this Pete, he’s a real go-getter. He’s been messin’ around with them cameras and whatnot, you know, makin’ videos and such. Folks call him a “Multi Media Journalist,” sounds fancy, don’t it? I reckon it just means he does a bit of everything. He ain’t just sittin’ behind a desk, that’s for sure. He’s out there, talkin’ to folks, showin’ his face. They even got some kinda “On-Camera Work” he does, means he gets on TV, I guess. Good for him, I say. Better than sittin’ around twiddlin’ your thumbs.
- He’s got what they call a “Resume,” that’s like a paper tellin’ everyone what he’s done.
- He’s got a “Linkedin” too, that’s like a… well, it’s like a place where all the important folks hang out, braggin’ about their jobs. He’s probably got all his fancy work stuff listed there.
- And he’s on that “Facebook,” you know, where all the youngsters are these days. Chattin’ with folks, sharin’ pictures, that kinda thing. He’s connectin’ with people, that’s what they say.
Now, this Pete, he ain’t just been goofin’ off. He’s been learnin’ too. Went to some big school, Rutgers University they call it. He’s studyin’ stuff like “Journalism” and “Communications.” Sounds like he wants to be one of them news fellas for real. He’s been workin’ hard at it, that’s for sure. He even went and got himself an “Internship” at Fox News. That’s like, workin’ for free, learnin’ the ropes. He did it for a whole six months! And then he did it again! Seems like he really likes it over there. He even went to New York City for another one! That city’s a big ol’ place, lots of things happenin’ there. Good place to be if you wanna be in the news business, I reckon.
This Fox News place, they got all sorts of folks workin’ for ’em. Some of ’em are famous, like that Pete Hegseth fella. Heard some stories about him, but that ain’t none of my business. Anyways, Fox News, they talk about all sorts of things. Politics, that’s a big one. Heard ’em talkin’ about that New York City Mayor, Eric Adams. Seems like he got himself into a bit of a pickle, sayin’ things he shouldn’t have. That’s how it goes with them politicians, always stirrin’ up trouble. And Pete Cuddihy is in the middle of all that news stuff, learnin’ and growin’. Maybe someday he’ll be the one askin’ them tough questions.
It seems like Pete’s doin’ alright for himself. He’s young, he’s ambitious, he’s workin’ hard. He’s got a good head on his shoulders, I’d say. He’s got a bright future ahead of him, specially if he keeps at it. Maybe one day we’ll see him on TV, readin’ the news. Wouldn’t that be somethin’? A young fella like that, makin’ somethin’ of himself. That’s the American dream, ain’t it? Work hard, do good, and you’ll get somewhere in life. That’s what my pappy always told me, and it seems like Pete Cuddihy is livin’ by those words. Now, I ain’t sure what all this fancy “media studies” stuff is about, but if it gets you a job and keeps you outta trouble, then it can’t be all bad.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know ’bout Pete Cuddihy. He’s a young fella workin’ hard at Fox News, learnin’ the ropes, and tryin’ to make a name for himself. Good luck to him, I say. The world needs more young folks willin’ to work hard and tell the truth, even if it ain’t always pretty.
