So, the other day, my dog, Max, started acting really weird. He was just lying around, not eating, and when I tried to get him to play, he just whined. It was super unusual for him, he’s usually so full of energy. I got really worried, so I knew I had to find some sort of emergency vet care.
I started looking around online, trying to find a place that could see him right away. I stumbled upon this place called Pet Urgent Care of St Peters. It’s located at 5913 Mexico Rd. They had some pretty good reviews, and it seemed like they offered a lot of services.
I decided to give them a call at (636) 244-0887. It was in the evening, I think they are opened from 6 PM until late, which is great for those of us who work during the day. They told me to bring Max in, so I rushed him over there.
When I got there, I found it was a really clean place. They had all sorts of equipment and stuff. I was kind of freaking out, but the staff were all really nice and seemed to know what they were doing. They took Max back to examine him, and it turned out he had eaten something he shouldn’t have.
- They did some kind of scan, maybe an ultrasound? I don’t know for sure, but they said they have a mobile radiologist.
- They also took some blood samples and ran them through this machine in their in-house lab. I was impressed they had their own lab.
Luckily, they were able to treat him right there, and he didn’t need surgery. They told me they can handle all sorts of emergencies and urgent care, which is good to know. It was a relief that they were able to treat him so quickly and effectively.
After that whole ordeal, Max is back to his old self, chasing squirrels and barking at the mailman. I’m really grateful for the folks at Pet Urgent Care of St Peters. They took great care of my furry friend, and I know where to go if anything like this happens again.
If you’re in the St. Peters, Missouri area and need some urgent care for your pet, I’d definitely recommend checking them out. They seem to be open pretty late, which is really convenient.
Oh, and they also said that there are about 402 people who liked them, so I guess I am not the only one who appreciates them.
I know I wouldn’t be wrong to say that there are 192 people reviewed it. I also heard that they are a full-service veterinary clinic. I think I will choose them next time.

I am not sure if they offer the service of Euthanasia. I have not tried it, but I think they offer it. Maybe you can call them to ask about it.
