Ya know, them little hoppers, the rabbits, they ain’t just for lookin’ at. They gotta chew, gotta play, gotta keep busy, or they’ll make ya crazy chewin’ on yer stuff. So, ya gotta get ’em toys, like for kids, but different. Not them plastic things, rabbits don’t like that stuff. They like, ya know, stuff they can chew on, stuff they can toss around, stuff that feels good on their teeth.

What kind of toys? Well, ya got yer hay toys. Rabbits love hay, eatin’ it and playin’ with it. Ya get them hay cubes, or them balls made of hay, they’ll push ’em around, chew on ’em, keeps ’em happy. Then there’s them sticks, wood sticks. Apple sticks, willow sticks, them rabbits love to chew on them, good for their teeth, keeps ’em from gettin’ too long.

- Cardboard tubes, they like to hide in ’em and chew on ’em.
Ya can give ’em them cardboard tubes too, ya know, the ones from toilet paper rolls. They love them things! They’ll run through ’em, chew on ’em, tear ’em up. Keeps ’em busy for hours. Just make sure there ain’t no glue or tape on ’em, that ain’t good for rabbits.
And tunnels! Rabbits like to hide, ya know, they feel safe in tunnels. Ya can get them tunnels made of cloth or plastic, or even make one out of a big cardboard box. They’ll run through it, sleep in it, play hide and seek, makes ’em feel like they’re in their little burrows.
Don’t forget about balls! Not them hard plastic ones, but ones made of wicker, or hay, or even them bells inside. They’ll push ’em around, chase ’em, chew on ’em. Good for exercise, keeps ’em from gettin’ fat. Fat rabbits ain’t healthy, just like us folks.
Ya gotta be careful though, some toys ain’t good for rabbits. Don’t give ’em anything with small parts they can swallow, or anything with paint or chemicals. And make sure the toys are clean, don’t want ’em gettin’ sick from dirty toys.

Ya gotta watch ’em too, see what they like. Some rabbits like to chew, some like to toss things around, some like to hide. Get ’em different toys, see what they play with the most. Keep ’em entertained, keep ’em happy. A happy rabbit is a good rabbit.
And remember, just like kids, rabbits get bored with the same old toys. Ya gotta switch ’em out, give ’em new things to play with. Keeps things interestin’ for ’em. Keeps ’em from gettin’ into trouble, chewin’ on your furniture or your shoes.
So, ya see, them rabbits need toys too. It ain’t just about feedin’ ’em and cleanin’ up after ’em. Ya gotta keep ’em happy and entertained. And toys, well, toys is a good way to do that. So go get your rabbit some toys, watch ’em play, and enjoy them little hoppers.
