Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting a black Persian cat for a while now. They’re just so fluffy and regal-looking! So, I finally decided to take the plunge and start looking for breeders. Let me tell you, it was a journey!
Starting the Search
First, I started by doing some basic online searching. I just typed in “black Persian cats for sale” to see what would pop up. I found a bunch of different websites, some looked a bit sketchy, others looked okay.

Digging Deeper
I decided to focus on websites that looked like they belonged to actual breeders, not just random people selling kittens. I looked for sites that had pictures of the parent cats, information about the cattery, and health guarantees. It was important to me that the kittens were coming from a good place.
Contacting Breeders
I picked out a few breeders that seemed promising and sent them emails. I asked about their available kittens, their prices, and their breeding practices. I also asked about the health of the cats and if they had been tested for any genetic diseases. You gotta be careful, you know?
Narrowing it Down
A few breeders got back to me. Some were super helpful and answered all my questions. Others, not so much. I crossed the ones that seemed dodgy or unresponsive off my list.
Visiting the Cattery(Almost!)
I narrowed it down to one breeder that seemed really great. She sent me lots of pictures and videos of the kittens.
Unfortunately, she was located a bit far.
Because she is too far to visit,I just make a phone call with her, and asked questions by wechat.
She is a really nice breeder, and show me some videos, all looks great!

Making a Decision…
I haven’t made a final decision to pay her deposit.
I’m excited (and a little nervous!) about potentially getting a new furry friend!
