Can’t imagine havin’ a fluffy one like these Persians, big or small.
So, when did these tiny cats start showin’ up? Heard it was back in the nineties. Someone got the idea to make ’em even smaller. Why? Who knows! People are always tryin’ to mess with nature, seems like. But hey, if folks want tiny cats, I ain’t gonna judge. To each their own, I always say.
But you gotta be careful, you know. Not all these so-called “teacup” cats are the real deal. Some breeders might try to fool ya, sellin’ you a regular kitten and tellin’ you it’s a teacup. So how do you know? Well, do your homework, that’s what. Talk to other folks who have ’em, find a good breeder, don’t just jump at the first cute little furball you see.
- Look at the size: A real teacup Persian should be noticeably smaller than a regular Persian kitten.
- Check the parents: If possible, see the parents of the kitten. They should also be small.
- Ask questions: Don’t be afraid to ask the breeder questions about the cat’s size and health.
And remember, even though they’re small, they still need all the same care as a big cat. Good food, clean water, a warm place to sleep, and lots of love. And don’t forget about all that brushing! You’re gonna be brushin’ and brushin’ and brushin’ that fur.
Now, how long do these Persians live, big or small? Heard tell it’s around 13 or 14 years, on average. That’s a good long time to have a furry friend. But of course, some live longer, some shorter. Just like people, I reckon.
These little teacup cats are gettin’ awful popular. Everybody wants one, seems like. But they ain’t cheap, let me tell ya. You gotta be prepared to shell out some serious cash for one of these tiny furballs. And they ain’t always easy to find, neither. You might have to search around a bit.
So, is a teacup Persian cat right for you? Well, that’s somethin’ you gotta decide for yourself. They’re cute, no doubt about it. And they’re small, so they don’t take up much space. But they need a lot of care, and they can be expensive. Just somethin’ to think about, that’s all.
