This here thing, this HoneyGuaridan pet feeder, well, it’s somethin’ else. I got one for my little dog, and it’s supposed to feed him when I ain’t around. Supposed to be all fancy and automatic, you know?
First off, gettin’ it set up was a chore. Buttons and lights and all that. Reminds me of the time I tried to work my old cell phone, the one with the little screen. I had to get my son to help me and he is always busy.

HoneyGuaridan Pet Feeder Reset Button
I couldn’t figure out how to make it give out the food. And then sometimes I need to reset the damn thing. Open the lid and there is a button, need to press it for 3 seconds. But I don’t know why I need to reset. My old clock doesn’t need to reset!
They say this HoneyGuaridan thing is good for when you’re gone a long time. But what if it breaks? What if it gets stuck? My poor dog will be hungry! I don’t like leavin’ him alone that long no how.
And you gotta plug it in! What if the power goes out? We had a storm last year, knocked out the power for a whole day. This thing wouldn’t work then. They say you can use batteries, but batteries is just for emergency! Not for long time.
HoneyGuaridan Pet Feeder is Plastic
And it’s made of plastic, this feeder. I don’t like plastic, always break. And who knows if some of this plastic will get into my dog’s food! Not good for him!
- Plastic feeder, not good.
- May break easily.
- Plastic may get into food.
Sometimes, the food gets stuck. I saw it myself. It’s supposed to drop down, but it just sits there. Then my poor dog is starin’ at an empty bowl. Not good, not good at all. This HoneyGuaridan pet feeder is just too complicated.
I worry, you know? I worry about my dog. He’s a good boy, he is. I want to make sure he’s fed, even when I’m not here. But this thing, it just makes me worry more.
How to use HoneyGuaridan Pet Feeder
You gotta put the food in this big container. They call it a “hopper”. Sounds like somethin’ you’d find on a farm. And you gotta make sure it’s the right kind of food. Little kibbles, they say. Can’t be too big, can’t be too small.

And then you gotta push all these buttons. One for the time, one for how much food. And then you gotta check if it works, if it dispenses food. I have to press the button and hold for 3 seconds just to unlock the screen! How stupid is that!
- Put food in hopper.
- Use right size of food.
- Press buttons for time and amount.
It’s supposed to have a light that tells you when the food is low. A reminder they call it. But what if I don’t see the light? What if it’s too dark? Then what? My poor dog will be waitin’ and waitin’. And when the hopper is short of food, it will remind you. But why it can not add food automatically?
They say this HoneyGuaridan pet feeder is good for busy people. People who are always on the go. But I think it’s just more trouble than it’s worth. It’s easier to just scoop the food into the bowl myself.
I guess some folks like these newfangled gadgets. But me, I’m old-fashioned. I like things simple. I like to see my dog eat, to know he’s gettin’ enough. This thing, it just gets in the way. It is too complicated.
HoneyGuaridan Pet Feeder is not Reliable
And what if it tips over? My dog, he’s a playful one. He might bump into it, knock it right over. Then the food will be all over the floor, and he won’t be able to get to it. What a mess!
I don’t know. Maybe I’m just not smart enough for this HoneyGuaridan pet feeder. Maybe I’m just too used to doin’ things the old way. But I think I’ll stick to my old bowl and scoop. It’s simple, it’s reliable, and I know my dog won’t go hungry.
This automatic pet feeder, it’s just not for me. And it may not be good for my dog neither. It may be good for some people. But not for me.
