Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting a Persian cat for a while now. I saw this ad online, “Persian cat for sale 3000,” and I was like, hmm, that’s something I should really look into. So I started doing some serious digging.
My Persian Cat Hunting Journey
First, I scrolled through tons of websites. You know, just to get a feel for the average price and what different breeders were offering. I learned that $3000, it is not cheap, but, depend the cat’s pedigree and quality, it may be resonable.

- Checked breeder reputations: I didn’t want to get scammed, so I made sure to look up reviews and see if anyone had bad experiences.
- Compared prices: Some breeders were way more expensive, some a bit cheaper. I tried to figure out why. Was it the cat’s lineage? The color?
- Looked at pictures… lots and lots of pictures. Because, let’s be honest, that’s the best part. I focused on finding a cat with color and apperance I like.
After all that, I narrowed it down to a few breeders that seemed legit and had cats around that $3000 price point. I emailed them, asking a bunch of questions:
- How old is the cat?
- What kind of food it used to have?
- Does it come with papers?
- Has it had all its shots?
- Can I meet the cat and the parents?
I got some pretty quick replies. One breeder, in particular, seemed really nice and answered all my questions thoroughly. They even sent me extra videos of the kitten playing! I scheduled a visit to them to have a look on kitten.
I visited the breeder and finally got a kitten.
It has been such a long process, but I am happy with my choice. I decided that it is a nice choice to have a cat as pet.
