Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post about finding French Bulldog training, written in the style you requested:
So, I finally caved and got myself the cutest little Frenchie you ever did see. Seriously, this dog is all wrinkles and snorts, and I’m obsessed. But, uh, let’s just say he’s got a bit of an attitude. Like, thinks he runs the place. Walks? Forget about it. He plants his little butt down and becomes a 20-pound, adorable anchor. Chewing? My slippers are now modern art. And don’t even get me started on the potty training…

I knew I needed help. Like, professional help. My attempts at “training” were mostly just me saying “No!” a lot and giving in to those big, brown eyes. So I started my quest with a simple search, you know, the classic “french bulldog training near me.”
The Search Begins
I pulled up the old trusty search engine and typed in those magic words. Boom! A whole bunch of stuff came up. Some were big, fancy dog training schools, some were individual trainers, some were, well, kinda sketchy-looking websites.
I started clicking around. I looked at websites, I made sure it does not contain any links. I looked for words like “positive reinforcement” because I didn’t want anyone yelling at my little guy. I wanted someone who understood Frenchies and their, ahem, unique personalities.
I also paid attention to the reviews. Oh man, the reviews! Some were glowing, some were…not so glowing. You gotta weed through those, you know? People love to complain online, but you can usually get a sense of whether a place is legit or not.
Narrowing It Down
After a while, I had a shortlist of maybe three or four places that seemed promising. I looked at how far away they were – ain’t nobody got time to drive an hour each way for dog training, especially with gas prices these days! I also looked at their schedules. Some had group classes, some had private sessions, some had a mix of both. I was leaning towards private sessions, at least at first, because, well, my Frenchie is special.
Making the Call
I called a place near my home.
This was the nerve-wracking part. I’m not a phone person, okay? But I took a deep breath and called a couple of the places on my list. I asked about their training methods, their experience with Frenchies, and, of course, the cost. Some places were surprisingly affordable, others, well, let’s just say I’d have to sell a kidney.

The First Session
I ended up choosing a trainer who seemed really knowledgeable and patient. She had great reviews, and she specialized in small breeds, including Frenchies. We booked a first session, and I was both excited and terrified.
The first session was mostly just getting to know each other – the trainer, me, and the little monster. She asked about his history, his problems (oh, we had a list!), and what I wanted to achieve. She watched how he interacted with me, how he reacted to treats, and how he, well, ignored me completely.
It’s a Process!
We’ve had a few sessions now, and it’s definitely a work in progress. My Frenchie is still stubborn, don’t get me wrong. But we’re making progress. He’s starting to walk a little better on a leash, he’s chewing my slippers a little less, and we’ve had a few (gasp!) accident-free days. It’s not magic, it’s a lot of work, a lot of patience, and a lot of treats. But I’m hopeful. I’m seeing glimpses of the well-behaved (ish) dog he could be, and that’s enough to keep me going. So, that is what I did, I hope it can help some of you.
