They’re on Newark Ave, easy to find, I reckon. And there’s others too, like Hound About Town and Hoboken Pet. Lots of choices, that’s for sure.
- Dog Food: Big bags, little bags, dry kibble, wet food… You name it, they got it.
- Cat Food: Same deal as the dogs, but maybe with more fishy flavors. Cats love their fish, don’t they?
- Bird Seed: For them little fellas that sing pretty songs.
- Reptile Food: Crickets, worms, and other creepy crawlies. Not my cup of tea, but them lizards gotta eat!
Keepin’ ’em Clean: Alright, so they’re fed, now what? Well, you gotta keep ’em clean, or your house gonna smell like a barnyard! That means shampoo, brushes, maybe even them little nail clippers. Petco and them big stores, they got all that. And I bet them smaller shops do too. You can even find groomin’ places, where they’ll wash and clip your pet for ya, if you ain’t got the time or the stomach for it.
And don’t forget the litter boxes for the cats! And them doggie poop bags, gotta clean up after ’em when you take ’em for a walk. It’s just good manners, ya know?
Toys and Treats: Now, this is the fun part! Every pet loves a good toy. Dogs like them squeaky toys and balls, cats like them dangly things and little mice. And treats! Oh, them treats are important! Good for trainin’ ’em and just showin’ ’em some love. You can find all sorts of toys and treats at any pet store, just gotta find what your critter likes.

Now, I ain’t been to Germany, but I heard tell there’s a place bigger than a Wal-Mart just full of animals and their stuff. Can you imagine? Must be somethin’ else! But here in Jersey City, we got plenty to choose from, whether you got a big ol’ dog or a tiny little hamster.
