Okay, so, I’ve been seeing these “corgi mixes” all over the internet, and the “corgi dane mix” caught my eye. I mean, a Corgi and a Great Dane? It sounded wild, so I decided to really look into it.
Digging into the Idea
First, I just started searching, you know, just typing “corgi dane mix” into the search bar to see what would pop up. I wanted to see pictures, obviously, but also see if this was even a real thing.

The Reality Check
Well, what I learned that, it’s technically possible, but it’s not exactly common, mainly because of the size difference. Breeding a tiny Corgi with a giant Great Dane, the normal way, it’s just not practical.
How It Could Happen
So, from what I gathered, the only way this mix would probably happen is through artificial * a female Great Dane will be a mother.
Thinking About the Puppies
I spent a good chunk of time trying to imagine what these puppies would even look like. Would they be short and long like a Corgi, but huge? Or would they be tall like a Dane, but with stubby legs? It’s such a weird combination!
- Size: Who knows! It’s a total gamble.
- Coat: Could be short like a Corgi, or longer like a Dane, maybe a mix.
- Temperament: Both breeds are pretty friendly, so hopefully the mix would be too!
The Verdict
My searching that, a corgi dane mix is more of a “what if” than a common thing. It takes some serious effort to make it happen, so you’re not going to find them at your local pet store, that is for sure.
I didn’t actually end up getting a corgi dane mix, because that seemed, well, almost impossible. But the whole process of learning about it was pretty * is a crazy world.
