You see, folks always ask about English Bulldog and French Bulldog. Which one better? Which one more cute? They both like little piggies, right? Today I tell you, they ain’t the same, not one bit!
First, you look at ’em. English Bulldog, that one big fella. Big head, big body, kinda like that old tractor down the road, all sturdy and whatnot. And wrinkles! That face got more wrinkles than my old bedsheets. They face flat like you hit it with a pan, poor thing. But they sweet, though, just big and clumsy.
Then you got the French Bulldog. Smaller, like a little bread loaf. Still got that squished-up face, but not as much. And them ears! They stand up straight like they always listening for gossip. They got energy, that’s for sure. Always bouncing around, wanting to play, they good with the kids.

Now, some folks say English Bulldog lazy. They like to nap, sure. Who don’t? But they also like to walk, you know, sniff around, check things out. They just ain’t in no hurry. English Bulldog, they like an old man, taking it easy. They good for the older people, the people who dont like a lot of fuss.
That French Bulldog, though, always on the go. Like a kid hopped up on sugar. They need someone who can keep up. They love to cuddle, they love to play. They like them little children, the ones who run around all day, making a ruckus. These French Bulldog like to cuddle, they love it. They like little pig that wants to be pet.
English Bulldog, they drool. A lot. You gotta keep a rag handy. They also snore. Loud. Like a chainsaw sometimes. And they got that pushed-in face, so sometimes they have trouble breathing, especially when it’s hot. It is not good for them in the hot weather, they might die. You gotta be careful with ’em. They are not cheap you know, these dogs.
French Bulldog, they don’t drool as much. But they still snore, some of ’em. And they can get gassy. Whew, sometimes they can clear a room! They also have the face problem, but not always bad.
They both good with kids. But English Bulldog, they so big, they might knock a little one over by accident. French Bulldog, they might nip a little when they play, ’cause they get excited. So you gotta watch ’em, either way. These dogs, they can’t be left alone with the kids you know, they might hurt them.
Now, they both get sick sometimes. English Bulldog, they can have hip problems, ’cause they so heavy. And skin problems, ’cause of all them wrinkles. They can have eye problems too, you gotta keep them clean. It is very important to keep them clean.

- French Bulldog: Breathing, and allergies and skin.
French Bulldog, they can have breathing problems. And allergies, sometimes. And skin problems too, just like the English one. They also have to go to the vet, just like any other dog, you know. Gotta keep ’em healthy. They need to go to the vet more often than other dogs, because they are not very healthy.
So, which one better? Well, that depends on you. You want a big, lazy dog that drools and snores? Get an English Bulldog. You want a small, energetic dog that farts and bounces off the walls? Get a French Bulldog. But they are very expensive you know.
Me? I like ’em both. They both sweet in their own way. Just like people. Some are big and slow, some are small and fast. Some are quiet, some are loud. Doesn’t make one better than the other. Just different. You gotta love them for who they are, that’s what I say. You need to love them a lot.
They are very expensive, so you need to know how to take care of them. You need to have money for the vet you know. If you don’t want to take care of it, then don’t buy it.
They both love to cuddle, that’s for sure. They are good dogs, but you need to know how to take care of them. If you want a dog that doesn’t like to cuddle, these are not the ones. Both of them like to cuddle a lot, especially the French Bulldog. They like little babies you know.
But English Bulldog, they are more chill. They are very lazy. They are good for the people who are lazy, who don’t want to walk around all day. They just want to watch TV, and the English Bulldog will watch with them, they love to be lazy. That is why they are good for old people. The French Bulldog is not good for old people, they run around too much. The old people can not catch them.
So, you need to choose what is better for you. If you have a big house, maybe English Bulldog is good. If you have a small house, maybe French Bulldog is better. Because the English Bulldog is very big. They take up a lot of space, more than the French Bulldog.
