Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting a Siamese cat for a while now. They’re just so gorgeous, with those striking blue eyes and that sleek coat. But, you know, a cat needs a name, and a Siamese deserves a really good one. So, I started my great Siamese cat name hunt!
Brainstorm Time!
First, I just started jotting down anything that came to mind. I mean, ANYTHING. I had:
- Coco – Kinda cute, but maybe too common?
- Shadow – Because of their darker points, you know?
- Blue – Well, duh, the eyes!
- Midnight – Again, going for the dark fur thing.
- Cleo– shorten from Cleopatra,Sounds elegant!
I even threw in some random stuff like “Sushi” and “Mocha” just to see if anything clicked. Nope. Nothing felt quite Siamese enough, you know?
Getting More Specific
Then I figured I should get a bit more organized. I started thinking about Siamese cats’ origins. They’re from Thailand, originally called Siam, right? So maybe some Thai-inspired names would work.
So I am thinking of reasearching on Google.
I started searching on websites, finding the origins of the cats.
I also thought about the cat’s personality. Are they going to be playful? Regal? Mischievous? That could totally influence the name.
The Finalists
After all that brainstorming and research, I finally narrow the list down to my top five names.
- Siam – For its origins.
- Azure – Love the name.
- Sapphire – For the blue eyes.
- Rajah-Sounds powerful.
- Duchess-Sounds elegant, too.
I’m still making the decesion. I am going to wait till I get the cat.
I will write down the names and see which one goes well!
So, yeah, that’s my name-finding journey so far. It’s been fun, and it’s made me even more excited to (hopefully) bring home my new furry friend soon! Wish me luck picking the perfect name!
