Alright, let’s talk about this here cat litter, the kind they call “Blue Buffalo.” Now, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, but I know a thing or two about keeping things clean, and that includes where the cat does its business.

First off, they say this stuff costs a pretty penny. And why’s that, you ask? Well, it ain’t just dirt they’re diggin’ up, see? They use all sorts of things, like wood and corn, even walnuts! Can you believe it? Walnuts! I reckon that’s why it costs so much. Them fancy folks, they’ll pay anything for their cats, I tell ya. And the price, it goes up and down like a seesaw, dependin’ on who’s sellin’ and who’s buyin’. Most litters, they’re just made of clay, heavy and dusty, makes a mess if you ain’t careful.
But this Blue Buffalo, they say it’s different. They call it “Naturally Fresh,” somethin’ like that. Says it’s made from them walnut shells, all mashed up and whatnot. Supposed to be better for the cat and better for the smell, too. I ain’t too sure about all that, but that’s what they say.
- Now, what makes this Blue Buffalo stuff so special? Well, they say it clumps up real good. You know, like when the cat pees, it all sticks together in a tight little ball. That way, you ain’t gotta scoop out the whole dang box every time. Just pick out the clumps and be done with it. They call it “quick-clumping,” which I guess is a good thing if you ain’t got all day to mess with cat poop. And if you got a whole mess of cats, well, this stuff is supposed to be good for that too. Says right on the bag, “Multi-Cat.” Means it can handle a lot of mess, I reckon.
- But is it worth the money? That’s the real question, ain’t it? I mean, cat litter is cat litter, right? It’s supposed to soak up pee and keep the smell down. Can’t this regular clay stuff do the same thing? Maybe, maybe not. I guess it depends on how much you love your cat and how much money you got to spare. Me, I always say, “Waste not, want not.” But if you got the cash and you want the best for your furry friend, well, maybe this Blue Buffalo is worth a try.
I heard tell this Blue Buffalo is better for the smell too. Now, I ain’t got the best sniffer, but even I can tell when the cat box needs changin’. And if this fancy litter can keep the stink down, well, that’s a point in its favor, I reckon. They say it’s the walnuts that do it, absorb the smell or somethin’. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but hey, if it works, it works.
One thing’s for sure, nobody wants to be breathin’ in that nasty cat pee smell all day long. And if this here Blue Buffalo can help with that, well, it might be worth the extra cost. After all, a happy home is a smell-good home, ain’t that the truth?
So, there you have it. My two cents on this Blue Buffalo cat litter. It’s expensive, that’s for sure. But it’s supposed to be better, too. Clumps better, smells better, and made from fancy walnuts. Whether it’s worth the money, well, that’s up to you. Me, I’m still on the fence. But if you got a picky cat or a sensitive nose, it might be just what you’re lookin’ for.

Anyways, just make sure you keep that there cat box clean, no matter what kind of litter you use. A clean cat is a happy cat, and a happy cat means a happy home. And that’s all there is to it.
