Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with the Australian Mini Bulldog:
So, I’ve always been a dog person, and I’ve had my eye on getting a smaller bulldog breed for a while. I did some digging and stumbled upon the Australian Mini Bulldog. I was intrigued, so I decided to take the plunge and see what it was all about.

Getting Started
First things first, I started researching breeders. This took a while! I wanted to make sure I found someone reputable who really cared about the health and well-being of their dogs. I looked at tons of websites, read reviews, and even visited a few places in person. It was a bit of a process, but definitely worth it in the end.
Bringing My Pup Home
After a lot of searching, I finally found the perfect little pup! I was so excited. I prepared my home by getting all the essentials: food, bowls, a comfy bed, some toys, and, of course, puppy pads (lots of them!). Bringing him home was a bit chaotic, but super rewarding. He was so tiny and curious, sniffing everything in sight.
The Training Begins!
Potty training was… well, it was an experience. Lots of accidents at first, but we stuck with it. I used positive reinforcement – treats and praise whenever he went outside. It took some patience, but we eventually got there. We also started basic obedience training: sit, stay, come. He’s a pretty smart little guy, so he picked things up relatively quickly.
- Lots of potty breaks
- Treats, treats, treats!
- Short, fun training sessions
Daily Life and Discoveries
We go on walks every day, and he loves to explore. He’s got a surprising amount of energy for a smaller dog! I also quickly learned that he’s a big chewer. I had to invest in some durable chew toys to keep him from gnawing on everything in the house. Another thing I noticed is that he snores…loudly! It’s kind of endearing, though.
Overall Impression
Getting an Australian Mini Bulldog was a great decision. It’s been a lot of work, but it’s also been incredibly fun and fulfilling. He’s brought so much joy into my life. He’s playful, affectionate, and just an all-around awesome companion. I’m super happy with my little buddy!
I would recommend doing your full reasurch and be prepared to adapt as they can have a stubborn nature.
