Alright, so I’ve been noticing something kind of funny with Siamese cats. You know how they all seem to have that cross-eyed look? I got to wondering, are they really all like that, or is it just some of them? So, I decided to do a little digging and see what’s up.
First, I started by just looking at pictures. I googled “Siamese cats” and scrolled through tons of images. Noticed quite a few of them did have that signature cross-eyed thing going on. But then I saw some that looked, well, normal. Their eyes were straight. This got me even more curious.

Next, I figured I should read up a bit on it. I read through some articles. Found out that there’s actually a reason why some Siamese cats are cross-eyed. It’s got something to do with their genes and how their eyes develop. Apparently, the gene that makes them look like that, also affects their eye’s. It’s like a two-for-one deal with those genes.
But here’s the kicker, not all Siamese cats have that gene. So some of them have that cross-eyed look and some of them don’t. Some just inherit the standard look. I was not expecting that.
My findings:
- Looked at lots of pictures of Siamese cats.
- Read some stuff about why they might be cross-eyed.
- Found out it’s because of their genes.
- Realized not all Siamese cats are actually cross-eyed.
So, there you have it. Not every Siamese cat is rocking the cross-eyed look. It all comes down to their genes. I guess it’s kind of like how some people have blue eyes and some have brown. Just a little quirk of nature! I learned something new today, and hopefully, you did too!
