Okay, so I’ve been wanting a French Bulldog for like, forever. And blue ones? Forget about it, they’re just the cutest. So, I finally decided to get serious and look into getting a female blue Frenchie. Here’s how that whole adventure went down.
The Initial Search (and Sticker Shock!)
First, I started hitting up Google, you know, just browsing around. I typed in stuff like “female blue french bulldog puppies” and “blue french bulldog breeders.”

I started looking at pictures, obviously. I mean, who wouldn’t? All those adorable wrinkly faces and big eyes. I was hooked.
I spent a couple of days just scrolling, saving pictures, and basically turning my phone into a Frenchie shrine. I even started a dedicated folder – don’t judge!
Breeder Research
After the initial “OMG SO CUTE” phase wore off a bit, I knew I had to find a good breeder.I started looking more seriously at breeder websites.
It felt like I was reading a million different pages. I looked for breeders who seemed to really care about their dogs, not just churning out puppies.
The Waiting Game…and More Research
So, I found a few breeders, and that the one breeder seemed like the best fit. After,It was a lot of waiting, and I was getting impatient, not gonna lie. I kept myself busy by, well, doing more research! You can never know too much, right?
- I looked up common health problems in Frenchies.
- I started researching the best food for French Bulldog puppies.
- I even started looking at cute little outfits. Okay, maybe I got a little ahead of myself there.
Finally, Puppy Time!
After all the waiting and looking, I got the call. A female blue Frenchie, was ready for me.
Picking her up was a blur of excitement. The first thing I did was get her a good checkup. I think the vet was getting tired of my questions. But I’m very happy.

The First Few Weeks
Those first few weeks were a whirlwind. Potty training was… an experience. Let’s just say I went through a LOT of paper towels. And the chewing! Everything was a potential chew toy. I had to puppy-proof the entire house.
Life with My Blue Frenchie
It’s been a few months, and I can’t imagine life without my little girl. She’s the sweetest, most stubborn, and most loving dog I’ve ever met. She snores like a truck, loves to cuddle, and her favorite toy. Every day is an adventure, and even though it was a long process to find her, it was 100% worth it.
If you’re thinking about getting a blue Frenchie, I say do your research, be patient, and get ready for a whole lot of love (and maybe a little bit of chaos!).
