Okay, so I saw this “gay garfield shirt” thing trending, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” I gotta check this out. I’m always up for some weird internet stuff.
First, I just did a simple search. It turns out it’s basically Garfield, but, like, really flamboyant. Think bright colors, maybe some rainbows, definitely some sassy poses. People are putting these designs on t-shirts and sharing them around.
My Attempt at Making One
I’m no artist, but I figured, why not try to make my own? I’m not selling this, just for giggles.
I grabbed a basic Garfield image, just a regular one. It has got his usual orange and black, you know, the classic look.
I used a simple free online image editor to do the edits. Nothing fancy, just something with basic color editing tools.
- Color Changes: I messed with the colors. I made his orange fur brighter, like, really bright. Like a traffic cone. And I made his stripes a deep, vibrant purple.
- Adding Some Sparkle: I found this “glitter” effect in the editor and added it to his eyes. Why not, right?
- Sassy Pose: In this free online tool, it’s a bit difficult to edit the character’s posture, so I leave it as-is.
It looks… interesting. Definitely not professional quality, but it gets the idea across. It’s Garfield, but he’s ready to party.
So, that’s my “gay garfield shirt” adventure. It was a fun little experiment. It’s amazing what people come up with, and it was cool to try making my own version, even if it’s just for laughs.
