Using PancrePlus Powder? Get the Best Results for Your Pet!

Okay, so the vet told me my dog, Buster, needed some help with his digestion. He wasn’t absorbing nutrients like he should, poor guy. The vet recommended pancreplus powder, and I was like, “Okay, let’s give this a shot!” I’m always up for trying anything that might help my furry best friend.

Getting Started

First things first, I got the powder. It comes in this little container, looks kind of like a spice jar. I read the instructions, which, thankfully, weren’t rocket science. It basically said to sprinkle it on his food. Seemed simple enough.

The Mixing Process

  • I scooped out Buster’s regular kibble.
  • Then, I measured out the pancreplus powder. The vet gave me specific instructions on how much to use based on Buster’s weight, so I made sure to follow that.
  • I sprinkled the powder over his food, trying to get it evenly distributed. It’s a pretty fine powder, so it mixed in pretty easily.
  • I added a little bit of warm water, just enough to make it a little moist and help the powder stick to the kibble. Not too much, though, because Buster hates soggy food.

And mixed, mixed and mixed!

The Taste Test (aka Buster’s Verdict)

This was the real test. Buster can be a picky eater, so I was a little nervous. I put the bowl down in front of him, and he sniffed it cautiously. Then, he took a tentative lick… and then another! He gobbled it all down! Success! He actually seemed to like it, or at least, he didn’t hate it. That’s a win in my book.

Seeing the Results

I’ve been using the pancreplus powder for a few weeks now, and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in Buster. His poops are more, um, normal looking. He’s got more energy, and he’s not as gassy (thank goodness!). He’s also gained a little bit of weight, which is great because he was a bit underweight before. Overall, it’s not any change that I can give certain details, after all it has been only a few weeks and these things take time, but for the most part it’s been going quite well.

So yeah, that’s my experience with pancreplus powder. It’s been pretty straightforward, and it seems to be helping Buster. If your vet recommends it, I’d say it’s worth a try. Just make sure you follow their instructions and keep an eye on your pet to see how they’re doing.
