Okay, so I’ve been having this problem with feeding my cats. I work long hours, and sometimes I’m just not home in time for their dinner. Felt super guilty about it, you know? So, I started looking into automatic feeders. After checking out a bunch of options, I decided to try the Closer Pets Automatic Feeder. Here’s how it went down:

Getting Started

First, I unboxed the thing. It came with the feeder itself, a couple of bowls, and an ice pack. Pretty straightforward. The instructions were clear enough, even for a non-techy person like me.

Closer Pets Automatic Feeder: Set Up, Use, and Keep It Clean!

Setting It Up

  • I popped in the batteries (it takes three AA batteries, which weren’t included, gotta remember those!).
  • Then, I set the timer. This was the trickiest part, but only because I kept messing with the buttons, It’s actually pretty simple. You just set the current time, and then the time you want the feeder to open.
  • I put the ice pack in its little compartment – this is supposed to keep wet food fresh, which is a big plus for my picky eaters.
  • Filled the bowls with their usual kibble. I liked that there are two bowls, so each cat gets their own portion.

The Test Run

I set the timer for a few minutes later, just to see if it would actually work. And… it did! The lid popped open right on time. My cats were a little confused at first, sniffing around the new contraption, but they quickly figured it out and started munching away.

Real-World Use

I’ve been using the feeder for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been a lifesaver. No more rushing home to feed the furballs!

The only is that I used the ice pack for wet food when i first, but i found that my cats will wait until the wet food to be room temprature, so I no longer need to add the ice pack and just prepare kibble for them is fine.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I’m really happy with the Closer Pets Automatic Feeder. It’s reliable, easy to use, and keeps my cats fed on time. It’s definitely taken a load off my mind, and I feel less guilty about those long days at work. If you’re struggling to keep up with your pets’ feeding schedule, I’d say give this one a try.

It makes my life much more easier and cats are happy and healthy!
