Okay, here’s my blog post about finding French Bulldog training, written from a personal experience perspective, using simple HTML tags, and keeping it super casual and conversational:
So, I got myself the cutest little Frenchie a few months back. Seriously, the snorts and the bat ears? I was in love. But, let me tell you, this little guy, “Chunk,” had a mind of his own. Potty training? Forget about it. Walks? More like drag-Chunk-down-the-street sessions. I knew I needed help, and fast. I started by asking every single dog person that I encounter where they went.

My Training Journey Begin
I started my quest for the perfect trainer, I am a newbie dog owner. I want the best for my Chunk, and I have no training skills. I did a few searches on training and quickly got overwhelmed. There are so many options!
I narrowed it down by thinking about what I really needed. Chunk’s biggest problem was his stubbornness during walks and his, shall we say, enthusiastic greetings with other dogs. So, I decided to look for classes that focused on obedience and socialization, especially ones that had experience with Frenchies or similar breeds.
Then I went through my list. I called a few places. Some were way too “boot camp” for my liking – Chunk’s a sensitive soul! Others were booked solid for months. I wanted something more personal, not just a giant class where Chunk would get lost in the crowd.
One place, “Pawsitive Vibes Training,” sounded promising. The woman I spoke with, Sarah, actually owned a French Bulldog herself! She totally got the breed’s quirks. We chatted about Chunk’s issues, and she suggested a combination of private sessions and small group classes. It was a bit pricier than some of the other options, but I felt like she really understood what I was looking for. I decided to schedule a private session for an evaluation and see if we work well together.
Success!
It’s been a few weeks now, and I’m so glad I went with Pawsitive Vibes. Chunk’s still a work in progress, don’t get me wrong. But he’s actually walking nicely on a leash (most of the time!), and he’s learning to “greet” other dogs without going full-on crazy. Sarah showed me how to use positive reinforcement, which Chunk responds to way better than any kind of scolding. We even learned a few fun tricks, like “spin” and “play dead” (which is hilarious with a Frenchie, let me tell you). Best choice ever!
The biggest thing I learned through this whole process is that finding the right trainer is about more than just proximity. It’s about finding someone who understands your dog’s breed, personality, and your own training goals. Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions and even try out a few different places before committing. Your furry friend will thank you for it!
