Alright, so I’ve been on this kick lately trying to find the perfect little furry buddy to add to my family, and I’ve got my heart set on a corgi puppy. You know, those adorable, stubby-legged pups that just melt your heart? Yeah, those. So I’m in Michigan, and I started on a little quest to find a Welsh Corgi puppy around here.
First thing I did was jump on the internet, because where else do you start these days? I typed in “Welsh Corgi puppies Michigan” and boom, tons of stuff popped up. I started clicking through websites, checking out breeders and rescue groups. One site, called PetzLover, seemed like a good place to start since it’s all about buying and selling pets. I figured it was worth a shot. I also found a site named Corgi Paws of Michigan, it shows that they have 5 AKC Pembroke. Great, it is exactly what I want!
Then I stumbled upon this thing called “Corgi 101 Owner’s Guide.” It was an offer to save money on this guide. Seemed a bit random, but hey, I’m always down to learn more about these little guys, especially if it’s going to save me some cash. After all, it did say that “Turn Mischievous Pups into Exceptionally Well-Behaved Dogs”. I need that, I think.
I kept digging and found a bunch of breeders listed on different sites. One had these “Exceptional DM Clear Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies” for $3,500. They were in Carson City, and honestly, they sounded pretty fancy. I had a contact with the breeder, and scheduled a visit next week.
Along the way, I read up a bit more about corgis. Turns out, they’re not just cute; they’re also pretty smart, or so they say. But apparently, my two corgis must be the exception to the rule, haha! I learned that they need a lot of mental and physical stimulation, which makes sense since they’re herding dogs. I found out about something called a “snuffle mat” and puzzle toys to keep them busy. Gotta keep those little brains working!
