Okay, so I needed to get some stuff for my dog, right? And I’m in Bemidji, MN. So, I was like, “Where do I even go?” I started by just looking around online, trying to figure out what pet stores are even in this town.
First, I searched around for “pet supplies Bemidji MN” and saw a few names pop up. There was this place called Pet Zone, another one called Great River Rescue, and then Canine Divine Pet Grooming & Boutique. Oh, and a couple more – Becker Pet & Garden, Dogs Paw, and Petnorth. Sounded like a good starting list!
Then, I checked out some reviews to see what people were saying. Pet Zone seemed pretty popular, and Great River Rescue too. Some folks were talking about Canine Divine, but it seemed more focused on grooming. There was also something about Strandell Kennels, but I wasn’t really looking for a kennel, you know?
After that, I decided to check out the Walmart Supercenter in Bemidji. It said online that they had a bunch of pet stuff, and I figured, why not? I drove over there and walked into the pet section.
Here’s what I found at Walmart:

- Lots of toys, leashes, and collars. My dog’s gonna love that!
- They even had stuff for cats, birds, and fish, although I didn’t really look at that.
I grabbed a big bag of dog food, a new chew toy (his old one was pretty wrecked), and a new collar ’cause his was getting kinda gross. Checked out at the register, no problem. The prices were pretty decent, too.
So, yeah, that’s how I ended up getting my dog supplies in Bemidji. Walmart was a good choice for me, but it seems like there are other options like Pet Zone and Great River Rescue if you want a more dedicated pet store experience. If you are looking for something specific, maybe give these places a call. But if you just need the basics, Walmart’s got you covered.
