Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this… this… corgi goldendoodle mix thing, ya know? Folks call it all sorts of fancy names, like “Golden Corgidoodle” or somethin’. Sounds like somethin’ a city slicker would come up with, but anyways…
So, what is it? Well, it’s like this. You take one of them fluffy goldendoodle fellas, ya know, the ones with the curly hair like a fancy lady’s perm? And then you take one of them corgis, the ones with the short little legs and the big ol’ ears, kinda like a loaf of bread with legs stickin’ out. You put ’em together, and bam! You got yourself a corgi goldendoodle mix.

What do they look like, you ask? Well, it’s a mixed bag, I tell ya. Some look more like the goldendoodle, all fluffy and whatnot, but with shorter legs. Others look more like the corgi, but with a bit more fluff and maybe a bit bigger. It’s like a surprise package every time, ya never know what you’re gonna get!
- Some got curly hair
- Some got straight hair
- Some got short legs
- Some got legs a little bit longer
But they all got somethin’ in common: they’re cute as a button! I mean, who can resist those big ol’ eyes and that waggin’ tail? It’s enough to melt even the hardest heart, I tell ya.
Now, about their personality… well, that’s another mixed bag. Goldendoodles, they’re known for bein’ friendly and playful, like a happy-go-lucky pup that just wants to lick your face and chase squirrels. Corgis, on the other hand, they’re smart little fellas, but they got a bit of a stubborn streak, ya know? They like to think they’re the boss, even though they’re just a little shorty.
So, when you mix ‘em together, you get a dog that’s usually pretty friendly and playful, but might have a bit of that corgi sass in ‘em. They might try to herd your feet, ya know, like they think you’re a sheep or somethin’. And they’re smart, so you gotta keep ‘em busy, or they’ll find their own trouble to get into, believe you me.
Trainin’ these pups? Well, it ain’t too bad, but you gotta be patient. They’re smart, like I said, but that corgi stubbornness can come out sometimes. You gotta be firm but fair, ya know? Use lots of treats and praise, and they’ll catch on eventually. Just don’t yell at ’em, they’re sensitive little things, just like all critters.
And what about takin’ care of ‘em? Well, they need regular brushin’, especially if they got that goldendoodle fluff. You don’t want ‘em gettin’ all matted up, do ya? And they need exercise, even though they got them short legs. A good walk or a play session in the yard, and they’ll be happy as clams.
Now, are these corgi goldendoodle mixes right for everyone? Well, probably not. They need attention, they need exercise, and they need someone who’s willin’ to put in the time to train ‘em. If you’re a couch potato who just wants a dog to sit around and look pretty, well, this ain’t the dog for you. But if you’re lookin’ for a fun, friendly, and maybe a little bit sassy companion, then a corgi goldendoodle mix might just be the perfect fit.

There’s all sorts of other corgi mixes out there too, you know. Mixed them with chihuahuas, German Shepherds, poodles… you name it! Seems like everyone wants a piece of that corgi cuteness. And I can’t blame them. They’re good dogs, most of ’em. Just need a good home and a lot of love, just like the rest of us.
So, that’s the long and short of it, ya know? Corgi goldendoodle mixes… they’re cute, they’re friendly, and they’re a whole lotta fun. Just be prepared for a little bit of sass and a whole lotta fluff!
And remember, every dog is different, just like people. You can’t judge a book by its cover, or a dog by its breed mix. Gotta get to know ‘em, ya know? That’s the only way to find out if they’re the right dog for you.
