Alright, let’s talk about this here Pitpet thingamajig, the automatic pet feeder. Sounds fancy, huh? Well, it ain’t so bad once you get the hang of it. First off, ya gotta plug it in. Yep, find that little hole in the wall and stick it in there. Then, this here little screen lights up. Don’t be scared, it just wants to know what time it is.

Now, this here clock thing, it’s got them numbers, ya know? 12 and 24. Means if you like your time the regular way, with AM and PM, you pick the 12. If you’re one of them military types, you pick the 24. Use them UP and DOWN buttons, just like on your TV remote. Push ‘em ‘til you get what you want. Then, you gotta press that RIGHT button. That’s like sayin’ “okay” to the machine.
Setting the time, that’s important. Otherwise, your furry friend might be eatin’ breakfast at suppertime! This thing’s got a brain, but it needs you to tell it what’s what. So, get the time right, okay? It ain’t rocket science, even this old lady can do it.
Now, about feedin’ times. This here Pitpet, it lets you choose when your critter eats. You gotta set them times up too. The instructions, they probably tell you all fancy-like, but I’ll tell it to ya straight. You go through the menus, pushin’ buttons and settin’ hours and minutes. You want Fluffy to eat at 7 in the mornin’? You set it for 7 in the mornin’. You want Spot to eat again at 5 in the evenin’? You set it for 5 in the evenin’. See? Easy peasy.
- Figure out the time. Use UP and DOWN, then RIGHT.
- Set the feeding times. Morning, noon, night, whenever your pet gets hungry.
- How much food? You can control that too! Don’t want no fat cats, do we?
And the amount of food, you can control that too! This here feeder, it’s got settings for that. You don’t wanna overfeed your critter, make ‘em all fat and lazy. A little bit here, a little bit there, that’s the way to go. Them instructions, they’ll tell ya how to adjust it. Just read carefully, or get one of them young’uns to help ya.
Now, sometimes things go wrong. Maybe you messed up the settings, or maybe the power went out. Don’t you fret! This here Pitpet, it’s got a way to reset everything. You hold down that UP button for a good long while, like 5 seconds, and it goes back to startin’. Then you gotta set everything up again, but hey, at least you ain’t gotta buy a whole new feeder.

And there’s this recordin’ thing too. This here feeder, it can talk to your pet! Well, not really talk, but it can play a little message you record. “Here, Fluffy, dinner time!” Somethin’ like that. It’s cute, I guess. But if you don’t want it, you don’t gotta use it. It’ll still feed your pet, don’t you worry.
One important thing: If your pet ain’t used to this fancy feeder thing, they might be a little scared at first. Don’t just throw ‘em in the deep end, ya know? Start slow. Put a little food in the feeder, let ‘em sniff around. Let ‘em get used to it. Once they figure out it’s got food, they’ll be all over it.
And if the food gets stuck, well, that happens sometimes. Just give it a little shake, or poke around a bit. These things ain’t perfect, ya know? But they’re a whole lot better than gettin’ up at the crack of dawn to feed a hungry cat, let me tell ya.
If you get really stuck, there’s a guide you can get. They call it a “user guide” or somethin’. It’s a PDF, which means you gotta look at it on your computer or phone. If you got one of them fancy phones, you can probably find it easy. If not, ask one of them young’uns for help. They know all about this computer stuff.
There’s even a button for givin’ your pet some extra food, if they’re bein’ extra good. Or extra hungry. It’s called manual feedin’, I think. You just push the button, and out comes the food. Simple as that.

So, there you have it. This here Pitpet feeder, it ain’t so scary after all. Just take it slow, read the instructions, and you’ll be fine. And your pet will be happy and well-fed. And that’s all that matters, right?
