So, the long and short of it? Well, I ain’t sure there’s a real answer. Some folks say no, there ain’t no such thing as a short-haired Maine Coon, not a pure one anyways. Others say you might find one here and there, maybe a mix or maybe just a young ‘un. It’s a puzzle, that’s for sure. But one thing’s for certain, Maine Coons, long hair or short, they’re somethin’ special.
